About Us
At EVCS, we believe that childcare is more than just a facility, it's a community-wide effort to support the well-being of children in every part of their lives.
Founded with the goal of building a childcare centre in the Fernie, our mission has grown to support children not just in licensed programs, but also at home with parents, and in the classroom, helping early childhood educators (ECEs) and teachers.
We work with families, educators, and community partners to create environments where children thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially.
What We Do
For Children
We work to create safe, enriching spaces where children feel seen, valued, and free to grow. Whether it’s through our upcoming childcare facility or the community support around them, we believe every child deserves to thrive in an environment built on care, play, and connection.
For parents
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual — but it shouldn’t be done alone. We offer free workshops, courses, and resources to help parents feel confident, supported, and empowered in their role. Our goal is to create a village around every family, so parents feel strong and children feel secure.
For ECE'S and Teachers
We support the educators who shape children’s earliest experiences. By offering workshops, hands-on training, and a space to share ideas, we help early childhood educators and teachers grow in their practice — and feel proud, prepared, and connected in the work they do every day.
